Cantore Coolness
Thanks to an introduction, courtesy of video production geniuses Josh Allard (@joshallard) and Kevin Calumpit (@kcalumpit), I’m now doing some work with Chris Cantore – local radio celebrity – who you may remember from 91X, but who is now tearing things up at the X1FM Network. The Cantore Show is a hilarious morning talk/music show that has no shame when it comes to content (yesterday they discussed the WiiBrator). Chris and Andrew are two incredibly witty personalities that have a real knack for creating comedic content and engaging their listening community.
Chris is starting to explore social media in more detail, especially Twitter, and he’s asked me to participate in tomorrow morning’s show (8am – 12pm PST). I’ll be talking about Twitter and FriendFeed, maybe even Kyte, and also collaborating with Chris to start integrating his social media behaviors with his radio show. Hopefully you’ll tune in and send your feedback through Twitter, or call in directly – but either way we’ll both be listening and exploring new ways to include the listening community into Chris’ show.
